We have had some gorgeous Spring weather this weekend!

The grilling season got underway on Saturday night as we got to enjoy the hospitality and great company of some good friends. Kids ran and squealed in the warm breeze, the men fired up the propane (and then later built an actual fire), and the ladies got a chance to sit around and visit without the constant interruption of the aforementioned kiddos. Of course I forgot to bring my camera. But even without pics, it was a great evening.

Today was even a little bit warmer with highs in the 80s, so we decided to head to our nearby nature area to enjoy the great outdoors. I did not forget my camera today. :)

Hannah was off like a rocket to explore the trails...

We saw a tree that looked like a dinosaur....

And a real live snake!!! Eeeeeeek!

Hannah did a great job finding all of our trail markers.

She especially enjoyed getting down close to the water. We definitely thought she was going to end up going for a swim a couple of times...

It was a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
