We had Christmas at home with Hannah on the 23rd. It has been our tradition to do Christmas at home on Christmas Eve, but since the weather forecast dictated that we leave for Missouri a day earlier than normal, we decided to move up the festivites at home.
Here's Hannah with Brian as he reads the Christmas story from Luke:
Hannah and her daddy in front of the tree.
Hannah and mommy. :) Sorry for the grainy photo - it was quite a dark exposure and I had to brighten it to death in photoshop for you to even see our faces.
Here's Hannah opening her baby care kit. This was awesome - it has a stroller, pack & play, high chair, swing, changing pad, etc. Everything Hannah needed to take care of her babies. She loves playing mommy.
Some of her other gifts were a trampoline for downstairs, some books, and some puppets. Hannah picked up the puppets (a monkey and an elephant) and then turned to me and said "Where's the penguin?". HUH??? I didn't know they traveled in threes. My bad.Hannah definitely understood Christmas better this year. She had a great time playing with her nativity sets throughout the season. She had a Little People one, and my sister brought this great Veggie Tales one for her birthday. Hannah loved setting up all of the people and animals to look at baby Jesus. She even brought in a couple of My Little Ponies and Moses (from the Ark set downstairs) to be witnesses at the stable.
Hannah also was quite a little hostess during the Christmas season, and was sure to tell everyone who visited our house about how she "made" our Christmas tree.
