Hannah had her first visit to the dentist this week.
Historically, not my favorite place. Not by a long shot.
No major problems...it just gives me the creeps.
I had an appt of my own this week.
It started off with me being patient #13 to sign in....the first lucky sign.

It started off with me being patient #13 to sign in....the first lucky sign.
Then, as I was waiting in the chair for the hygienist to prepare, the song playing on the overhead speaker had a refrain that said "I should leave right now"...OVER and OVER.
But, despite the warning signs, I stayed.
And it was okay.
No cavities. Good check up. Another 6 month reprieve.

To psych her up for the big day, we watched several You-Tube videos of kids at the dentist.
When we got to the office, she was SO ready.
Marched right in, climbed up on the chair, and didn't blink an eye.
They gave her these awesome rhinestone studded glasses, which pretty much made her the coolest chick ever.

I was so proud of my brave girl. I could learn a thing or two from her.
Well, maybe in another six months.
