{ sleepover! }

Hannah had her first girly sleepover last weekend with her friend Emerson.
These two chicks have been friends since before they had a choice. :)
Emerson's mommy had been wanting to have a sleepover for them, and while I was doubtful that the girls would cooperate all night, I thought it was a sweet idea.
(And a wonderful bonus was that Brian & I got to enjoy a date night without a sitter!)

Emme's mom had the night all planned out. First activity: baking cookies!

Evidently the girls stayed up way too late talking! I wish I could have been a fly on that wall!

Here's my little princess all tucked in for the night.
I am so impressed that they went to sleep in the same room without any bedtime meltdowns.

There were fun activities planned for the next day, too, including decorating (faux) cupcakes & getting pedicures.

Overall, the night was a smashing success. I'm looking forward to swapping hosting duties for lots of future sleepovers. It's a win-win....for the girls & for us parents who will get a free date night once every other month. :)
