A lot of what I will continue to post here will undoubtedly be about "The Life and Times of Hannah".
But, I figured it was time to let Hannah off the hook of shouldering the entire blog burden. :)

Since many of you know this already, it's probably about time for me to provide an update to the rest of you....
We are adopting!
We have been praying and hoping for almost 2.5 years now for our little family to grow, and things have not exactly gone according to our plan, to say the very least.
There has been lots of tough stuff to deal with.
Luckily, our plan doesn't really matter, but HIS does.
We are adopting an infant, boy or girl, from the United States.
Our home study is almost complete and we are putting the finishing touches on our "family profile" which will be shown to birth moms.
Please pray that our DCFS clearances would be returned quickly and that we could become active with the agency soon as possible.
We are ready and waiting for the newest Kurz to join in on our chaos!

I'm so excited :) I've been praying since I heard the news. I know that God will send many blessings your way and that you will be wonderful parents to your new addition. I also know that Hannah will be a great big sister and she will love her new sibling so much! Best wishes to all of you! Can't wait for a new cousin :)
Congrats on your adoption news! I wanted to share that I am adopted....so I think it's a great thing. If you ever want to chat about what it was like from the "kids" perspective, I'd be happy to. I was also adopted as an infant. -Michelle Ringler

Of course. We can always do lunch at work, or meet somewhere after work and let the kids play at the park or something. I know Kaitlyn would love to see Hannah again :)
