I really can't believe that we are (not even!) 2 weeks into the school year.
Summer seems like a distant memory at this point.

(I am kind of kidding about this, but not really.)
Here's how we've been filling our days since the start of school....
We spent Saturday morning at the Farmer's Market,
Monday morning was Hannah's first day of school. It went well.
As for the rest of the week....well, that will probably be another post. :)

On Monday evening, I had the great opportunity to photograph a dear friend and her family before half of them depart for an extended time overseas.
On Wednesday night, Hannah started dance class for the fall and loved it!
She is a combo class that includes ballet, tap, and jazz.
I loved peeking through the blinds of the studio while the teacher was showing them "jazz hands".
No parents allowed in the room during class, though. Boo.
This was the best picture I could snag before I was banished to the waiting room.

Thursday night was an inter-squad volleyball scrimmage for our high school team.
I feel really lucky that the coach lists me as a volunteer assistant each year,
no matter how much (or little) I can actually assist with.
I love being in the gym this time of year. Such great memories.

While I was at the volleyball game, there was a Hannah-Daddy night going on at home.
More to come on our back-to-school whirlwind.....stay tuned!
