A couple of weekends ago, Hannah and her friend E had a sleepover.
We try to do this once a month, and the girls definitely let us know when it's been too long in between.
I love it when these two get together, but I think their combined vocabulary and IQ leaves me in the dust.
On the Friday of the sleepover, I took the girls for a nature walk at the nearby Parklands preserve.
The next morning, we made our annual pilgrimage to Tanner's Orchard.
We have done this every year since Hannah was born.
Like the Pumpkin Festival, it's just one of those things that marks the season for me.
We had a gorgeous sunny day, and took full advantage!
On the way there, Brian asked what my "must-do's" were, since it's usually very crowded and we had a somewhat short visit planned.
My only request: I'd like some time to take pictures.
My very favorite thing to do, especially with these subjects.
You might remember that Hannah has a deep love for these stick-your-face-through-the-hole things.
Crack me up.
This was my MUST TAKE photo of the trip.
I can't believe how quickly this has happened.
We caught up with my friend Catie and her kiddos before we had to leave.
What a great looking group!
Love these girlies.
It kills me to see them looking so grown up here. Remember this? That was yesterday.
And finally, some pictures of my kiddos. How'd I get so lucky?
Blessed is more like it.
I am so very thankful to get to be their mom.
I am so very thankful to get to be their mom.
Hope you all are enjoying your fall, too!
