{ what a week! }

This week started out with a school holiday on Monday and ended with the stomach flu.

The in between days weren't very much fun, either.

I had jury duty, and happened to be chosen to a particularly awful trial.

While I was sitting in the courthouse, I missed Hannah's preschool field trip.

Luckily Brian was able to go on this one.

It was a trip to the local fire station to learn about fire safety.

And here's another random topic....
The following photo is a testimony for why you should hire someone to take your family photos.

I thought I would sneak in a quick shoot with my tripod this weekend and get the Christmas card photo taken care of.

What I ended up with was about 100 photos that look like this....with Luke looking EVERYWHERE but at the camera.

Looks like I'll be phoning one of my very talented photographer friends and hoping we can get in this fall...

 

I did capture this one, though.  

I put it on Facebook with the caption "She's got her daddy's eyes".

Absolutely she does.

We wrapped up the weekend with Hannah getting stomach flu, and truthfully I'm not feeling the best right now.  I sure hope I didn't catch her bug.

Could be the Cardinals game making me nervous....  Fingers crossed.

Here's hoping this week is better than the last!
