This week was kind of a crazy one.
It was Spring Break for Brian's school district.
And we got the heaviest snowfall of the year.
Brian took the kids to the farm for a few days so he could work on school stuff.
I stayed home to work on house stuff and studying for my crazy class.
Then mid-week, we met up and halfway and I brought the kids home while he returned to the farm to continue working.
My parents came up to spend the rest of the week with us.
We always have such a great time when they visit!
They are really engaged with the kids.
Reemaw helped Hannah play all the songs in her Ladybug magazines,
and Mustache wrestled Luke until they were both laughing so hard they couldn't breathe.
It was great!
Reemaw also helped Hannah set up a science experiment from a magazine.
It had to do with surface tension, soap, and black pepper.
Hannah thought it was magic!

Brian got home late on Thursday night and the kids were so happy to see him!
Luke LOVES playing "ball", and I'm pretty sure Brian does, too.
So very cool to see him parent a boy.
He is phenomenal with Hannah without a doubt, but I also know he will raise an excellent man in Luke.
On Friday afternoon, we took advantage of having my parents here, and went truck shopping for Brian.
He's been driving our Honda CRV since he flipped his last truck in 2010.
He was long overdue for some new wheels.
We found a good deal at the local Ford dealership on a black F-150.
Brian loves it. He's worn cowboy boots and cranked the country music every day since...
On Saturday morning, we went up to church for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
They hid 3000 eggs in the church. Crazy!
It was a fun time. Hannah especially enjoyed the crafts.
That afternoon, we had a Mommy-Hannah date to see The Croods.
It was a cute movie - we both laughed a lot!
Unfortunately a tummy ache forced us to leave early and miss the ending,
but we will be sure to catch it when it's out on DVD.
We saw a preview for Monster University that's supposed to be out this summer....looks super fun!
We had fun with the promo in the theater lobby.
Even though we didn't really go anywhere, it was a nice, relaxing week.
A good way to get recharged for the crazy sprint we have ahead of us to get to the end of the school year!
SO very thankful for parents and in-laws who are willing to help out.
We truly got a lot done with their help this week.
