I'm pretty sure I've been saying for the last month that we'll be moving in within 2 weeks.
Every day we get a little closer, but seems like there's still a lot to do!
The interior has gotten SO close and will probably be done next week.
The exterior is another story - the siding company is backlogged due to the cruddy winter.
We may be moving into our green plastic wrapped house and just hoping that the exterior gets done soon!
Here's what's happened lately:
Carpet was installed upstairs.
Door hardware was changed out (originally they put on lever handles, but I much prefer the more traditional knobs.)
Countertops were installed in the kitchen! YAY!!!!!
I think this is easily going to be my favorite space in the house.
Kitchen backsplash was installed, too.
And finally, the fireplace surround was completed.
It sounds like maybe next weekend we'll get to spend our first night in the new house....maybe in sleeping bags on the floor, but still very exciting!!
